Musical Monday #4

Hello fellow interweb friends!

It's been a while since I've done a Musical Monday, but here it is! The song I picked out this week is a pretty sad, but decently good one. As we all know, the song "Wrecking Ball" from Miley Cyrus has decently lyrics and meaning, however, since her video was a little too much, it brought down the value of the song. The video that made her song worse than what is really is is not the only version; after seeing the director's cut version of the song, I have a whole new respect for her. In the director's cut, she is a lot more raw with her emotions, giving the song a little bit more meaning. Here's the director's cut, hope you enjoy!

And here is my most favorite cover of the song. This one is done by Landon Austin, a YouTuber musician that I completely adore. He is talented in terms of performing as well as songwriting. He is currently on tour now and if you guys enjoy this cover, do check out his other songs.

Get to Know Me!

Hello fellow interweb friends!

So I've been blogging for almost a year now, and I feel like I've never really get to sit down and tell you guys a bit about myself. Now, I know you can kind of tell what kind of person I am through my posts and the occasional few videos, but I thought it would be more fun to pretend to talk to you guys?  By talking to you guys, I mean sitting in front of a camera and talking to myself and pretending like someone is there to respond to me. I prefer doing things the more awkward way, if you know what I mean. Make-Up & Jewelry Schizznizz

Hello fellow interweb friends!

A few days ago, I decided to be productive and clean part of my room, this part being the top of my shelf/cabinet thing where I keep all my jewelry and make-up. I had so much fun reorganizing my stuff and thought it was totally about time I do so because my momma constantly yells at me about how I don't know what I have! Anywho, I got around to organizing all my stuff, mainly just my make-up and jewelry, which is actually a lot more things that I expected myself to have. I thought I'd record a video for you guys just showing you how I organize everything and where I keep them, but it accidentally turned into pretty much a collections video...I'm so sorry! 

So here is the video, hope you guys enjoy! I know it's a bit long, but afterwards, I thought maybe it was a good idea just to share with you guys what I have now and then we can grow our collections together! Summer 2013 Favorites

Hello fellow interweb friends!

With school starting right around the corner, it also means that summer is coming to an end, even though the weather may suggest otherwise. I've had such an amazing summer, filled with tons of adventures and a few new friends. Of course, along the lines of that, I've also found some definite favorite items and other random things that I thought I'd share with you! These favorites kind of stretch all over the board, from beauty products to apps to food. So here's a little video that seriously took me forever to upload, hope you enjoy!

Vietnam Motherland: Day 2

Hello fellow interweb friends!

Like I mentioned in my previous post, after a long plane ride, I also had to take a train ride home, and that ride was about another 10 hours since the train was delayed. Anyways, instead of literally typing out everything that went on in the plane, I thought I'd share this little clip with you with a special announcement, hopefully, you'll be able to figure out what the announcement is!

 

So on a completely random note, when I watched this video back, I felt like I was in Harry Potter when they were on the train heading to Hogwarts! Like I said in the video, I have not been on a train since 1997, so I was pretty darn excited about it and cannot wait for the next train ride back into Saigon - the only sad thing about that is it means I will be heading home, which will also mean my vacation will come to an end. 

I apologize for the horrible quality! I have no idea on how to use iMovie or any kind of video editing programs, so my videos will be as raw as they're gonna get! Hopefully, I will figure out how to combine clips together to make a full-length video instead of posting up multiple 2 minute clips. I just think that will be less exciting than if you just get to experience everything all at once!

Anyways! So did anyone catch the special announcement?!?! Hahaha, well on top of my blogging, I thought I'd also VLOG my trip too cause sometimes, the videos do a better job at capturing everything and you'll be able to see a semi-live version of what I'm doing while I'm here! Of course, I will still blog about the things I can't capture on video. 

But anyways, thank you so much for putting up with my horrible quality videos! I will try my hardest to figure out how to record better ones, but for now, you will get to see everything in its rawest form!
